Hugo and his wife Connie joined us on March 9, 2009.  

Hugo's desire is to walk deeply with God and the people of God in the local setting, known as the church, so that we will creatively,  courageously and passionately pursue God’s calling to be a loving authentic community to impact a hurting world.  

Hugo loves snorkeling, skiing, hockey, soccer, hiking, sitting on a beach reading a book, and generally being enthralled and enraptured at this adventure called life.  His motto is “I see things and people, not as they are, but as they ought to be. ” (thanks Cervantes)
 

Leah Snelgrove, Interim Pastor of Youth Ministries leah.scc@shawcable.com

Leah recently joined our staff as Interim Pastor of Youth Ministries.

Leah grew up attending Sardis Community Church and is now facilitating the Youth program here. 
She enjoys dance, and has trained  for nine years in RAD ballet.  Leah also loves baking, going for walks,
and reading a good book.  She has a BA in  Geography and Psychology and is currently attending Columbia Bible College, in the Youth Work program.

Leah has a passion for seeing teenagers come to know Jesus on a personal level and she enjoys hanging out with them, building relationships and exploring faith and the Bible with them.  Her favourite quote is, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

Sherry Erler, Administrator (sherry.scc@shawcable.com)

Sherry along with her husband Mike have been attending SCC
since 1992. In 1999 Sherry began working as the office administrator.

They have 4 children, 2 of which are married.
Sherry is enjoying her recent status as grandmother.
She also enjoys gardening, reading, visits with family & friends and is often found walking her 3 dogs along the Vedder River Rotary trail. Sherry considers working here a great blessing.
